| Brief

Championship Labs at The Werth Institute educates and inspires student-athletes and student influencers to become entrepreneurs to their name, image, and likeness (NIL). We work one-on-one with students to create a blueprint to monetize their personal brands and businesses while empowering them with the skillsets of an entrepreneur. Championship Labs PREPARES and PROPELS student athletes and student influencers to become ENTREPRENEURS & maximize NIL opportunities.

Creating creative assets for student brands has been one of the most entertaining things we've done while in the game. The students are amazing, the school is full of resources, and the energy is unmatched. Couldn't have asked for a better program to be a part of. 

| Entry 

1. There was no brand language, or styling coming into Championship Labs. We had to create one from ground zero. Which was exciting to do.

2. A lot had to be created to inform students and alumni about Championship Labs. From a website, to promotional material, and printed information (Pamphlets, Brochures, and Packets).

3. There are a lot of UConn Athletes, and a lot of UConn Influencers. Staying familiar with them all and keeping the level of consistency between all of their projects may have proved to be a challenge. Especially while trying to meet and get to know them. ( The UConn Students are all amazing, kind people and made this super easy)

| Research

So name, image, and likeness is a fairly new industry. There aren't many organizations out there that provide the level of aid Championship Labs does to their students. From aiding in the completion of brand deals, to creating media kits, building professional brands, or building camps. Our job with Championship Labs was to equip our students with whatever they would need creatively to succeed in any entrepreneurial ventures they went after. 

Somethings questions throughout the project:

  1. What does a professional brand look like?

  2. How do we stay connected and relevant to the students?

  3. How do we streamline the process of working with students?

  4. How do we create adaptable styles for personal/professional brands?

  5. What should athlete websites look like?

  6. How do we best serve influencers on their platform?

  7. How do we compete and stay ahead of other schools, style and impact wise?

Championship Labs is definitely one of the greatest assets to come to UConn and is just what our championship level athletes and student influencers need in order to succeed during school, and beyond.

| Our Deliverables

Deliverables for this program, were a bit out of order at first. There was a lot of back and forth of what was and wasn't needed, along with slight disorganization ( But to be fair, the industry is new, there's a lot of grey space when it comes to what you can and can't do). Regardless, this is the most fun any of us have had on a project. The team is fantastic, the networking is amazing, and UConn pride couldn't be at a higher level!

| THE CREATIVE WORK

From Logos, Websites, Advertising Material, and Social Media Content. The Creative Assets that had to be created to support the entrepreneurial efforts of the Championship Labs Students were extensive. But a fun experience. Working with athletes and influencers from Adama Sanogo, Jessica Mazo, Lexi Hastings, Donovan Clingan, Hassan Diarra, Nick Pronovost, and many more! We enjoyed the opportunities granted to us and the opportunities to come.

From filming content to showcase different sides of students, to creating promotional for special events, important news, or advertising moves made by the students. Creating content was a key part of Championship Labs' success as well as the future success of all those involved and being such a  crucial part of that process was amazing.
